Malaysia’s Mr Nice Guy.

He greets you with a sweet smile with a tall stature but Shee Fai can be ‘deadly’ when he is on the court.

Even after eight years since his debut in 2009 edition of Asean Basketball League, Loh Shee Fai continues to be the anchor for the Westports Malaysia Dragons alongside John Ng who were the players on the roster of the inaugural league.

The 28-year old cager who is also a member of Malaysia’s national basketball team is still very much the avid baller but things were not always smooth for Shee Fai as he had an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in 2014.

He has since recovered and even represented Malaysia in the recent Southeast Asian Games (SEA) 2017 held in Kuala Lumpur last August.

Famed for his three-point shots, the Dragons’ franchise leading scorer averaged at an impressive 35.7 percent from the beyond the three-point line then.

– Shee Fai in season 6

“Basketball has always been my passion,” said Shee Fai.

“I’m grateful to have played for my country and as always, excited for the new season of the ABL (ASEAN Basketball League).

Dragons will face Mono Vampires Basketball Club on 25th November in Bangkok as their first away game.

29th November marks the date of the first home game against Nanhai Kung Fu Basketball Club in Dragons’ Den (MABA Stadium) at 8.30PM.
